Job title : Application Modernization Business Analyst || Local's ||

Location : Bridgewater, NJ || Onsite

Responsibilities :

Conduct regular interviews, surveys, and workshops with IT team across various business units to gather requirements and assess the current IT application landscape

Maintain a comprehensive inventory of existing IT applications, including their functionality, business owners, and dependencies

Analyze and assess the current IT application landscape to identify redundancies, gaps, and opportunities for consolidation or elimination Collaborate with IT teams to identify the current compliance level, business needs and risks of IT applications and prioritize efforts to rationalize applications

Develop and maintain a roadmap for IT application rationalization across all business units

Provide guidance and support to individual business units in developing and executing their own IT application rationalization plans, ensuring alignment with overall corporate IT strategy, architecture and goals

Monitor and report on the progress of IT application rationalization efforts, and escalate issues or risks as needed

Collaborate with project teams across business units to ensure that application rationalization efforts are integrated with ongoing projects and initiatives

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Systems

At least 3 years experience in Business Analyst or similar role

Experience in IT application rationalization or portfolio management is preferrable Experience in analyzing large and complex datasets

Experience in working in a matrixed organization

Knowledge of IT industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to IT application rationalization would be an advantage

Demonstrated ability to work independently while dealing with high levels of ambiguity

Strong interpersonal and communication skill, able to communicate concisely and timely with different group of people.
