Job Summary
Ark of Rehabilitation Inc. Is currently seeking a part-time to Full time license Addiction Counselor to join our team:
Licensed Addictions Counselor:
LCSW-C/ LCPC/ LGADC/ LCACD/ ADT.
The candidate must have a strong providing support and guidance to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments to identify the substance abuse and mental health needs of individuals served.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling focused on substance abuse recovery using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Participate in regular meetings to review client progress, update client's treatment plans.
- Educate persons-served and their families about substance abuse, recovery options, and provide community resources.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine the appropriate level of care.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client's document.
Experience
- Proven experience in addiction counseling or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with group therapy techniques and individual psychotherapy approaches.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
