Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to
join our team in Columbia, SC. As the International
Sales & Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading
existing reseller and wholesaler accounts, driving new sales growth initiatives,
managing account activity, and expanding our network of international partners.
This position will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent
service, optimizing pricing strategies, driving product placement and marketing
initiatives, and identifying new account opportunities. The ideal candidate
will be a disciplined and organized professional who is highly motivated to
grow. Brings a deep understanding of successful international B2B sales to
wholesalers, and ideally has existing relationships within wholesale medical, sensory,
therapy products OR kids toys OR related industry. This role will require you
to be based in our Columbia, SC office for on-site collaboration with our team.
International travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
· New Business Development: Leverage
existing industry relationships to drive new business for ARK, identify and
pursue new strategic accounts in international markets, focusing on regions
with high growth potential.
· Account Management: Build
and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current and future international
resellers and wholesalers along with strategic sales accounts, ensuring
consistent business growth and customer satisfaction. Manage customer
performance and compliance with ARK agreements.
· Sales Growth: Develop and implement
strategies to drive increased sales from existing accounts, including
identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding product
offerings while leading customer/marketing initiatives.
· Market Analysis: Conduct
qualitative and quantitative research on individual market trends, customer
needs, and competitor activity to inform sales growth strategies and identify
new product opportunities.
· Collaborative Efforts: Partner
with marketing, operations, and product development teams to represent resellers
and wholesalers needs to ensure ARK provides the support and resources customers
need to succeed.
· Negotiation & Contracts: Collaborate
to negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements with resellers and wholesalers,
ensuring mutually beneficial and sustainable partnerships.
· Reporting & Forecasting: Track
sales performance, market feedback, and partner activity, providing regular
updates to senior management and contributing to the company’s strategic goals. Meet or exceed
monthly and quarterly sales targets.
· Customer Support: Assist
partners with any issues related to order fulfillment, product queries, and
customer support.
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing,
or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in
international sales or account management in a B2B environment within healthcare
OR therapy products OR kids toys OR related industry.
· Strong understanding of international markets, wholesale
businesses, and consumer channels, specifically Canada, Europe, the UK and Australia.
· Proven ability to develop and implement
successful sales strategies for international accounts.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Experience with CRM tools for managing customer information.
· Fluency in English; proficiency in additional
languages are a plus.
· Must be based in or near Columbia, SC, with
on-site presence required.
· International travel may be required.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience working with international resellers
and wholesalers.
· Knowledge of speech therapy tools, sensory products,
special needs products, healthcare products or kids toys and/or adjacent fields.
