Description :
Seeking a Java Mid-Level Technical Specialist on the Records Systems to backfill the current team as they develop the eCrash / CRIS project. Records Systems supports the Crash Data Management and Traffic Safety in collecting, analysis, and distribution of motor vehicle accident information. The chosen candidate will be part of the application maintenance team serving as the technical specialist and consultant by independently managing complex Java projects and providing critical second level 24x7 on-call support.
Will work with Business Owners in the translation of customer requests into technical request and user stories, coordinates software release schedules with the Business and Technical Team, develops business requirements, and provides testing and training support. This individual must have proven experience with enterprise level software development programs.
Skills Required / Desired Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Math, or Engineering or related technical discipline. Required 3 Years Experience programming in Java / JEE, Oracle, and XML. Required 3 Years Experience with Web Services, JSP, Servlets, Spring, Struts, Eclipse IDE, and version control tools. Required 3 Years Demonstrated ability in application analysis and design, cost analysis, estimating staffing needs, testing, documentation, and implementation. Required 3 Years Experience providing technical helpdesk support. Required 3 Years Experience with Visual C , .NET, CORBA, EJB, and Hibernate. Desired Java Certification.
