Diagnose system malfunctions of fire alarms and adjust, repair or replace equipment as needed to bring into compliance.Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reportsAbility to work independently or supervise others as requiredComplete documentation associated with fire alarm services providedCustomer service, coordination, and communicationRequired Skills / Abilities :
NICET certifications a plus, but not requiredInstallation experience and prior construction experience a plus.Diagnosis and Troubleshooting skills of commercial low voltage systemsMust have a positive and respectful attitude to maintain good working relationships with management staff, employees, vendors and customers.Competent computer skillsEducation and Experience :
Field electrical and / or electronic practical experience required.AA degree in electronics preferred, but not required or equivalent technical / Military school supplemented with 3-5 years of related industry experience is a plusValid driver’s licenseAble to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license as required. Paid for by ARK.Physical Requirements :
