Do you have networking and programming experience with the desire to work in the commercial security, video surveillance, access control and other commercial/ industrial low voltage systems field? If so, this may be the perfect role for you.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Install cabling and pathways for indoor and outdoor rated wiring and cabling systems
- Install, terminate, and test security system wiring and data cabling
- Mount security panels, hardware and devices to surfaces and rack spaces in a clean and professional manner
- Checking equipment inventory
Education and Experience:
- Panel programming to meet system requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Technical school training
- 2 years of related industry experience.
- Valid drivers license
- Able to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license as required. Paid for by ARK.
Physical Requirements:
- Physically able to climb overhead or crawl under spaces to complete jobs
- Must be willing to work at heights
- Must be able to operate electrical tools
- Must be able to differentiate color coding of cables
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at time
