Job Summary :
We seek a Mobile Field Test Engineer to perform field and drive testing of mobile devices to ensure optimal network performance, quality, and user experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with LTE, 5G, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and mobile network troubleshooting and proficiency in industry-standard testing tools.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct field and drive tests for mobile devices, analyzing network performance across LTE, 5G, VoLTE, and VoWiFi.
- Execute test cases for call performance, data throughput, handovers, roaming, and network stability.
- Utilize industry-standard tools (such as QXDM, QCAT, TEMS, Nemo, or similar) for log collection and troubleshooting.
- Analyze logs and report findings to R&D and development teams for issue resolution.
- Work closely with network operators and device manufacturers to enhance user experience.
- Perform software validation, regression, and interoperability testing in real-world environments.
- Travel to different test locations (urban, rural, highways, etc.) to evaluate network conditions.
- Provide detailed test reports and logs with analysis on identified issues.
