About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drive Tester to join our field operations team in San Diego. As a Drive Tester, you will play a key role in executing wireless network drive tests, collecting data, and reporting insights to improve network performance.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Perform daily setup checks of testing equipment including UE(s), tablets, scanners, and GPS antennas.
- Conduct drive testing based on pre-defined routes using provided test tools.
- Follow real-time voice prompts from the testing system to ensure accurate data collection.
- Capture and upload logs and complete daily test reports.
- Document any network-related issues or anomalies observed during testing.
- Submit photo evidence of equipment setup and vehicle.
Daily Report Requirements:
- Clear photos of:
- UE(s) and Scanner setup
- Tablet in holder, laptop arrangement
- Scanner & GPS Antenna on vehicle
- Vehicle used (Make & Model)
- Equipment details:
- IMEI, IMSI, Software Version (for devices and tablets)
- Scanner Model, Serial Number, Firmware Version
- Detailed test logs and summary report
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in drive testing (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with tools such as Tablets, Laptops, and Scanning devices
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Willingness to work outdoors and drive for extended periods
- No traffic violations in recent 3 years
Schedule & equipments :
- 3-5 hours each day, weekdays only
- vehicle provided, gas reimbursement
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
