Overview

Your role is ensuring the health and well-being of the dogs & cats by maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position requires physical stamina (getting on hands & knees to clean cages, bending over, lifting items), attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively alone or with staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and taking dogs out for bathroom breaks.
- Maintain cleanliness in kennels and the rest of the clinic by performing regular cleaning duties.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to senior staff or veterinarians.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to animal care supplies or equipment as needed.
- Keep up on laundry.
Experience
- Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred.
- Experience in a kennel environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely is essential for this position.
