Ark Veterinary Hospital is a small business in Charlotte, NC. We are professional, innovative and our goal is to Founded in 2017, Ark Veterinary Services started as a mobile clinic serving the Pee Dee Region of North and South Carolina based out of Sumter, SC. Since then, we have grown exponentially and are now expanding to Charlotte, NC with our first, state-of-the-art, mixed animal clinic.

Each team member is responsible for overseeing the daily function and flow of the hospital as it pertains to their position/department.

Strong preference for candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all guests are receiving appropriate amounts of food and water, clean and sanitize food/water bowls on a daily basis.
- Medicate boarders as needed
- Clean up dog poop, urination and any vomit several times throughout your shift
- Walk dogs on leash to and from outside exercise areas.
- Maintain a sanitary and healthy environment by following our standards of cleaning and disinfecting
- Monitor boarder's health by daily charting of eating and elimination habits. Dispose of and clean up any stool and urine.
- Follow all standards of safety with regards to handling boarders, particularly aggressive boarders and escape artists
- Pay specific attention to special handling notes
- Operate washer and dryer to clean pet belongings, towels, etc. Ensure belongings are returned to the appropriate pet.
- Ensure the facility meets or exceeds our expectations with regards to cleanliness and safety. Clean and sanitize all pet enclosures, exercise yards, and common areas. Mix and use disinfectants and other chemicals safely as instructed by the supervisor.
