What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at ARKA GRILL COMPANY LLC?
Description of duties to include but not limited to the following:
- Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar and dining room guests.
- Use proper measuring tools to ensure drink recipe consistency and accuracy.
- Interact with guests as appropriate.
- Describe daily featured items and supply detailed information about our menu when asked.
- Offering menu item recommendations by request.
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate.
- Take accurate and timely food and drink orders.
- Communicating orders through the Aloha POS accurately and efficiently.
- Checking IDs of guests when alcoholic beverages are ordered to ensure they are of minimum age requirement.
- Inspect and verify any prepared cocktails to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and accuracy.
- Carrying dirty plates, glassware, and silverware, and bus tubs from the tables to the dishwashing area in the kitchen.
- Attend pre-shift team meetings and be informed about daily features as well as any bar specific areas of focus.
- Collaborate with fellow bartenders, host and service staff, kitchen staff and management to ensure a great guest experience.
- Follow all relevant health department regulations and standards.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
- Provide exceptional service to all guests seated at the bar and bar ledge.
- Maintain a clean bar setting (floors, bar top, ledges free of debris and clutter).
- Restocking and replenishing bar inventory, supplies, glassware, serviceware, etc.
- Maintain a clean beverage item storeroom and cooler as needed.
- Attend any department and / or food safety / alcohol safety meetings to keep compliance with company policies.
