What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook position at ARKA GRILL COMPANY LLC?
Description of duties to include but not limited to the following:
- Follow the prep list created by the kitchen manager.
- Follow and execute any recipes using proper ingredients, methods, and measuring tools.
- Label and stock all products on shelves as appropriate so they can be easily accessible and organized.
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing products as needed to ensure they are fresh and meet all food safety standards.
- Undertake basic cooking duties as instructed (baking, sauteing, roasting, etc.).
- Maintain a clean workstation as to efficiently and safely execute all job functions.
- Ensure all food and other items are properly stored, dated, and labeled appropriately.
- Follow all nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
- Attend any department and / or food safety / alcohol safety meetings to keep compliance with company policies.
