Position Overview (Summary / Objective) :
We are seeking a software engineer to support a number of our primary programs working with the US Government and other commercial customers to develop our synthetic data simulation suite. In this position, you will be at the forefront of developing and enhancing synthetic radar capabilities and work in space emerging technology. This position will work with our synthetic radar team to enhance and evolve our world-class synthetic radar data generation capabilities in support of our customers' emerging needs.

The position is based in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This work requires the ability to acquire a Top Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities :
In this position, you will be responsible for :
- Take algorithm definitions and prototypes and convert them into robust software applications that run efficiently on large images and are ready for operational environments
- Collaborate with radar phenomenology experts to improve the quality of our generated synthetic radar and iterate to continuously improve data fidelity
- Collaborate with other developers including participating in and leading code reviews and technical exchanges
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications using modern programming languages and technologies
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
- Build and improve on automated test and verification software and tools
- Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle, including planning, requirements development, software design, implementation and build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner
