The Junior Loan Officer plays a crucial role in our organization by connecting with clients who are seeking mortgage assistance. Your primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls to potential clients, helping them navigate the mortgage process, and ultimately transferring them to a licensed loan officer for further consultation. This is a growth-oriented position, designed for individuals eager to transition into a fully licensed Mortgage Loan Officer role, with company-sponsored training and licensing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Client Engagement: Proactively reach out to potential clients through outbound calls, assessing their needs and providing initial guidance on mortgage options.
- Client Referral: Ensure a seamless handoff by transferring clients to a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer once their needs have been assessed and they’re ready for more in-depth consultation.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide excellent service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and explaining the next steps in the mortgage process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the loan officer team to ensure a smooth transition for clients and track the progress of referred leads.
- Growth and Development: Participate in training sessions and shadow experienced loan officers, working toward gaining the necessary licensing and skills to transition into a full-fledged Mortgage Loan Officer.
Qualifications:
