Key Responsibilities
- Analyze shipment data across parcel, trucking, air, and ocean transport to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Compile and evaluate sales and logistics data to inform smarter decision-making.
- Create advanced Excel models (pivot tables, macros, and more) to track and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Leverage AI tools to forecast trends, resolve challenges, and revolutionize logistics strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline operations and achieve goals.
- Develop clear, impactful reports and presentations that transform data into actionable insights.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest logistics trends, technologies, and regulations.
- Support the transportation and warehousing teams by monitoring KPIs and contributing to process improvements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or 8 years of relevant and practical experience.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in logistics or supply chain functions.
- Proficiency in Excel (including lookups, pivot tables, and macros) and familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Stellar communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.
- A proactive mindset, organizational excellence, and a love for teamwork.
- Technology: Hands-on experience with AI tools to drive insights and innovation (school or side projects count!).
- Familiarity with parcel systems (UPS, FedEx, DHL) or transportation management software (TMS).
- Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages.
- Relevant internships or projects showcasing logistics and data analysis expertise.
- 3 years of experience in logistics analysis, transportation, or supply chain management (preferred).
