About the position: As the Accountant II, you will perform accounting tasks including recording monthly journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and completing various reporting packages.
What you'll do:
- Record month-end journal entries
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Analyze and explain variances on the departmental Monthly Analysis Package (MAP)
- Support CFO with ad hoc financial reporting
- Work with Department Leads in yearly budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist in providing information for annual financial audit
- Crosstrain and serve as backup for Sr. Accountant
You should have:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting from a four year college or university
Experience: 3-5 years in public or private accounting
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills required. Advanced proficiency in Excel required. Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint
This position is onsite at our main office in Little Rock, Arkansas.
