About the position: The Supply Chain Analyst will oversee material procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationships. This role involves verifying material deliveries, reviewing invoices, analyzing inventory discrepancies, and maintaining optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability, manage purchasing processes, and negotiate with suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals. Key responsibilities include managing purchase orders, implementing purchasing policies, resolving supplier issues, and maintaining vendor relationships. The Supply Chain Analyst will also monitor key financial metrics and develop strategies to minimize dead stock and optimize inventory systems.
What you'll do:
- Obtain the vendor supply packing slip and verify the material and quantity listed matches what has physically been delivered and the Wasp Purchase Order.
- Review SAP Concur invoice and code daily.
- Report all Received not invoiced to the Senior Cost Accountant at the end of the month.
- Analyze inventory variances in WASP vs Sage 50.
- Review material flow parameters, such as order quantity, lot size, make cycle frequency, replenishment interval, and recommends appropriate levels to support the business/customer requirements
- Maintain acceptable inventory levels and ensure profitability by minimizing dead stock items
- Oversee the purchasing of materials and supplies, ensuring quality standards are maintained while meeting cost and delivery goals
- Collaborate with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable substitutions
- Assess current material availability; reasonably predicts future availability based on the market, delivery systems, and other variables
- Prepare and processes purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment
- Draft, explain, and implement instructions, policies, and procedures for purchasing and contract management
- Maintain and/or implement purchasing and recordkeeping systems
- Reach out to vendors to update vendor information in Medialab
- Acts as the company's representative in negotiations with suppliers
- Offer and contract with manufacturers for products such as freight solutions, incentive programs, data packages, and supply chain solutions
- Facilitate, research, and provide recommendations for potential suppliers who are looking to join
- Resolve inquiries and issues for Approved Suppliers that are impacting operation
- Responsible for planning, forecasting, and tracking key financial measures tied to the management of Approved Suppliers
- Develop and implement vendor management policies and procedures
- Responsible for Vendor and WASP inventory management master data
You should have:
Education: Bachelors in Business Administration preferably in Supply
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in supply chain
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, Advanced skills in Excel or other statistical analysis packages required. Strong computer skills required.
This position is onsite at our main off in Little Rock, Arkansas.
