What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Operator - River Mountain Quarry position at Arkansas and Louisiana Aggregate?
Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel Company - River Mountain Quarry in Dardanelle/Russellville Arkansas is currently recruiting for a Utility Operator. Only online applicants will be considered and evaluated.
Basic Requirements:
- Do you have the ability and desire to work 12 hour shifts?
- Do you have the willingness and flexibility to work weekend or overtime as needed?
- Do you have the ability to do manual labor including lifting items as heavy as 50 pounds?
- Do you have the ability and desire to work during inclement conditions including extreme heat and cold?
- Do you have the ability to climb ladders, stairs and perform repetitive bending and stooping when required?
- Do you possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with the personnel at the quarry?
- Are you motivated and a self-starter?
Selected candidates will be trained on:
- Both 50 and 100 pound Haul Trucks
- Water Truck, Skid steer, Back Hoe and Man lift
- Wheel Loader and Rock Breaker
- Bull Dozer and Excavator with bucket attachments
- General knowledge of aggregate Plant Operations
- 988 H Wheel loader
- Startup operations for the Plants
- Proper way to inspect plant and recognize malfunctions before startups and during operations
Expectations:
- Good attendance Record
- Complete job duties to the satisfaction of the supervisor
- Demonstrate competency with all safety standards and operation procedures for each area.
