What are the responsibilities and job description for the COUNSELOR position at Arkansas Baptist Children & Family Ministries?
Clinical Counselors with Living Well Professional Counseling are employed based on part-time status and are paid per session based on a fee schedule established by the agency. Counselors complete a W-4 and Arkansas Withholding Form upon hire. Clinical counselors demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit to build and maintain client loads. Every position at LWC is expected to adhere to the LWC Ministry Standard and Core Competencies and Values at all times. For this particular counseling position, we need an LPC/LCSW insurance provider with agency values and mission in mind. Their hours would need to include "after school" hours. They need to be experienced with a wide range of ages in counseling, including younger children. They need to be comfortable working very independently. They need to live in Forrest City or in areas immediately adjacent and have local community connections. They need to be willing to travel within the NEA area for onboarding and periodic training. They need to be experienced in computer skills including but not limited to electronic health records, Teams, Zoom, etc...
