Job SummaryNetwork Management Support Specialist maintains a good working relationship with health care providers and supports Network Development Representatives with resolving problems, responding to inquiries, and assisting with provider education for all lines of business.

Requirements

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum five (5) years' customer service or provider related experience in the healthcare field, claims processing and related administrative tasks, physician/hospital/office, insurance agency or company, or Physician Hospital Organization-PHO.
Resides in the provider region.

ResponsibilitiesAssists with coordinating and preparing provider education and training meetings throughout the region and on occasion, may be asked to travel with an overnight stay to provider workshops and/or training sessions in Little Rock or distant provider locations in the region., Contacts providers to promote Availity and other enterprise initiatives. This includes assisting the NDR providing additional support or training., Develops topics for community-based regional provider meetings and assists with the distribution of program materials to the selected providers., Helps the network management team review draft provider directories, publications, educational materials, etc., Maintains effective communication and relationship (verbal and written) with the provider community, while working closely with the Network Development Representatives, to ensure problems and inquiries are resolved and education needs are met., Performs other duties as assigned, Provides administrative support to the Network Development Representatives and regional staff, which includes, but not limited to credentialing requests and status, distribution of provider reports, and in-depth research and analysis into complex problems and inquiries. Resources would include information received from other operational areas of the Enterprise, archived newsletters, customer service workstation, other systems, provider manual, and internal websites.

The integrity of information must be maintained as outlined in the company Administrative Manual.

Segregation of duties will be used to ensure that errors or irregularities are prevented or detected on a timely basis by employees in the normal course of business. This position must adhere to the segregation of duties guidelines in the Administrative Manual.
