What are the responsibilities and job description for the Primary Care Clinic Nurse position at Arkansas Central Primary Care PLLC?
Description
Job Purpose: Provide nursing care to patients in professional manner. Assist all providers with assessment and management of patient care. Covers when primary clinical staff needs assistance or is out.
Hours: Standard hours are M-F 7:30a-5:00p. Applicant is preferred to be able to cover as needed M-F until 7:00pm and Saturday's 9:00a-1:00p.
Job Duties:
- Rooming patients and updating patient vitals, medical history, med list, etc.
- Follows all duties and job descriptions for all other clinical positions at Cabot Medical Care.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; reporting when repairs are needed.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
- Serves and protects the physician or health care provider practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Enhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Conforms to all clinic policies outlined in the employee manual or received verbally from a supervisor.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Performs any other task assigned by a supervisor.
Requirements

Trainings: Must have a Medical Assistant Diploma or active Arkansas LPN license. Medical Assistant applicant preferred to be Certified or Registered. Applicant be able to keep all licensures current.
