Summary:
The Systems Analyst I serves as an application specialist who uses basic knowledge, clinical, financial, or information technology experience to develop, establish, and maintain computer application solutions. Collaborates with customers, vendors, and other IT professionals to meet challenges in order to maximize efficiency and achieve quality outcomes. Uses understanding of system integration to ensure that other systems and modules will work in harmony with their supported applications. Successfully completes basic work assignments that are multi-disciplinary, multi-application oriented, and may require new and unique approaches with a varied group of people.

1. Works closely with users to provide a stable and reliable system and maintaining a high level of customer service.
2. Provides timely and courteous end user support.
3. Acts as the first level of support for the applications assigned.
4. Assists trainers in the development of training material related to supported applications.
5. Performs in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of system issues and uses critical thinking and resources to solve application issues.
6. Analyzes and tests new functionality in releases to determine application viability and integrity.
7. Provides regular maintenance to navigators, flow sheets, and all other application components.
8. Maintains appropriate system documentation and audits.
9. Provides on-site and phone support as necessary.
10. Adheres to change control process.
11. Communicates with customers, peers, and supervisors to provide status of current projects or problems.
12. Attends and engages in department meetings.
13. May require valid driver's license and insurance if role requires.
14. May require maintenance of inventory records pertaining to equipment location, repair and maintenance.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.
