  • The AHVN Statewide Home Visiting Trainer plans and implements a statewide professional development plan to address the needs of home visitors in Arkansas. Staff development includes; meetings, training, workshops, presentations, exhibits, development of training materials. The AHVN Statewide Home Visiting Trainer will also conduct site visits as required and technical assistance to home visiting programs, as needed / requested.

  • 1. Assures all staff development functions and plans are consistent with HIPPY USA, PAT National, HIPPY Arkansas, and PAT Arkansas policies, rules, regulations, state and federal regulations, and requirements as detailed by program funders.2. Assists in planning, organizing, and implementing HIPPY Arkansas and PAT pre-service and in-service training programs, including but not limited to related site Coordinator and home-based educator programs, events, and conferences.3. Assists in the development and administration of the AHVN training budget for all programs related to professional development and monitors performance outcomes for expected achievements.4. Conducts site visits to ensure integrity of home visiting models are maintained and program sites are adhering to all Arkansas accreditation requirements, rules, regulations, and grant requirements.5. Provides required site assessment and monitoring as required by the National model and program funder; reviewing site assessment results with related program sites, assisting sites in developing corrective action plans when necessary. Performs follow-up site visits within required time period and will recommend additional corrective action when necessary.6. Makes public presentations and represents the AHVN at conferences and events and assists in the development of public relations brochures, fact sheets, and other collateral materials.7. Serves as advocate for home visiting and home visiting programs across the state.8.
