Summary:

Responsible for assisting in preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects. Provides support on special projects which are financial in nature with an emphasis on researching and reporting costs, charges, trends, and projected reimbursements for patient groups within the hospital.

Description

• Compiles and prepares analysis of financial data for monthly and year-to-date reports. Investigates and reports on variances and other significant findings.
• Compiles, prepares, and analyzes, trends, profitability, budgets, staffing patterns, charges, and other financial data by different groups. Verifies accuracy of documents and provides summarization of findings.
• Creates adhoc analysis and reports using different financial systems for various departments and in support of special projects.
• Maintains and manages financial data, files, databases, systems, reports and reporting criteria to ensure the accuracy of information and historical records.
• Researches and prepares documentation for special projects and presentations.
• Provides consultation and support to management by analyzing and presenting information and insights that aid in the decision making process.
• Participates in financial related projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
