- Develops project management strategies and work with discipline leads and teams to execute plans.
- Acts as project lead and coordinates project activities. Plans and prioritizes deliverables and resources based on scope of work and project goals.
- Monitors activities and ensures work is progressing as planned and scheduled. Ensures requirements and project deliverable dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed.
- Identifies project risks/potential problems; proactively identifies solutions for resolution. Identifies needs that may not be initially recognized to ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.
- Communicates and documents project status and strategic recommendations; escalates issues accordingly via established protocol.
- Trains/mentors others on project management methodologies and best practices as required to meet project goals and objectives.
- Prepares and presents both written and oral reports regarding the status of projects, variances, benefit realization metrics, project budget analysis and status of the projects.
- Maintains communication and updates on project progress, issues, and risks.
- Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships both within and outside AC, promoting our standards and vision.
- Identifies and documents dependencies between project issues.
- Conducts research and develops objectives. Uses analytical skills and judgment to solve problems with limited information at hand.
- Performs risk analytics and risk mitigation strategies, recommending alternatives.
- Analyzes financial and other operational statistics for group work; provides input and recommendations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
