What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Arkansas Democrat-Gazette?
As a maintenance worker, you will play a crucial role in our operations, undertaking regular maintenance and repairs on specified equipment and facilities. This includes plumbing, electrical work, basic carpentry, heating and cooling systems, and structural components. Your reliability and attention to detail will be key to your success in this role. We are looking for a candidate with practical experience, robust technical expertise, manual dexterity, and physical endurance.
Applicants should be able to effectively follow instructions from supervisors or managers, have knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, be proficient in using hand and power tools, and have good organizational and time management abilities.
Candidates must be high school graduates or have an equivalent qualification and possess a background in mechanics. Additionally, prior mechanical experience within a production environment is preferred.
