Essential Duties
Daily duties and responsibilities
- Performs and properly completes daily pre-trip inspections.
- Defensively drives specific route transporting students to and from school in a timely manner. o Addresses behavior problems when necessary
- Maintains open communication with parents.
- Uses chain-of-command to report major disciplinary problems.
- Inspects bus for damage at end of each run. o Sweeps bus and leaves it in clean condition.
- Completes paperwork. Examples may include:
- Student count.
Accident reports.
Maintenance requests
Duties performed as needed
- Attends safety meetings, in-service training, and other workshops.
- Attends orientation meeting.
- Wash bus.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid Arkansas Class B CDL with P and S endorsements.
