Key Responsibilities
- Support parents in setting and achieving their goals, fostering a collaborative and empowering environment.
- Nurture the development of children within their family and cultural context, promoting social competency and resilience.
- Advocate for communities that support children and families from diverse backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and equity.
- Assist families with enrollment into the Early Head Start/Head Start program, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's or Associate degree in social services or a related field with two years of experience preferred.
- Within 18 months of hire, obtain a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field.
- General knowledge of computers and computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Adobe.
