Job Summary
This role is responsible for connecting with healthcare providers to improve quality initiatives and key performance indicators. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with internal partners and external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with providers to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Share quality reports and gap lists with providers to help them understand their performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Educate providers on HEDIS measures, medical record documentation guidelines, and Member Experience measures to help them improve their practices.
- Serve as an ongoing resource to providers for quality improvement, providing regular touch points and meetings to support their efforts.
- Work with Provider Relations and other provider-facing teams to improve provider performance in Quality (Clinical and Member Experience measures).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience with clinical and member experience quality.
- Driver's License required.
- Pharmacy Technician, Medical Assistant Licensed Vocational Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Social Work licensure preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with HEDIS and familiarity with HEDIS measures.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%, including trips requiring up to 3 hours of one-way driving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience presenting to healthcare providers or quality personnel, demonstrating strong communication and presentation skills.
