POSITION SUMMARY Provider Relations Representative is responsible for identifying current and potential referral sources and marketing Arkansas Hospice services to those sources. These referral sources include physicians, case managers, social workers, nurses, hospitals, long term care facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Social Services, or related field preferred; high school diploma / GED plus at least 5 years recent directly related experience may be substituted for degree.
Experience : Minimum of two years previous related work experience preferably in a hospice.
Additional Requirements : Valid Arkansas driver’s license, car insurance, and car required. Must be able to travel daily to various locations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contacts referral sources according to marketing plan :
Level A Source (frequently refers patients and has highest referral potential; visits weekly)
