What are the responsibilities and job description for the Courier / Driver Needed For Mail Route position at Arkansas Mailing Services?
Position Summary : Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner while making timely pick-ups on pre-scheduled route(s) and by special request.
Key areas of responsibility :
- Obey all traffic laws.
- Make timely pick-ups on all pre-scheduled routes and special requests
- Make sure each pick up has count ticket and report to Crew Chief any that are missing or incomplete
- Segregate First Class Mail from Presorted First Class Mail and letter size mail from non-letter and stage appropriately.
- Ensure that mail is secure and protected at all times while being transported.
- Hand sort mail when requested by Crew Chief or Supervisor
- Other job-related instructions as requested by Crew Chief or Supervisor
