Title: Accounts Receivable Follow-Up Specialist, Clinic Billing Office, FT Days Date Posted: 01/29/2025 --> Description: follow up with insurance carriers on aged, unresolved claims and to take appropriate action that will result in payment or complete closure of insurance balance. This position is also responsible for researching insurance company issues, workers comp claims and a variety of special projects. Works with clinic billing and coding staff members to optimize the Revenue Cycle process and assists Business office staff as needed. Requirements:  High School diploma or equivalent is required.  Previous medical billing experience is preferred.  Problem Solving, research, organization, detail-oriented.  Flexibility to work on competing priorities.  Able to work independently, identify patterns, make informed decisions.  Correctly identifying root causes to determine appropriate actions and outcomes.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.  Ability to completely and concisely summarize important details in account notes.  Excellent verbal and computer skills, with previous experience, required.
