About the Job:
We’re hiring a Highway Road Striping Foreman/Technician to join our growing team of traffic safety professionals. If you’ve got experience laying down lines on highways and interstates, know how to run a striping crew, and can keep a project moving safely and on time — we want to hear from you!
This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone with a strong work ethic, highway striping knowledge, and a commitment to safety.
What You’ll Do:
Lead a crew in applying pavement markings on highways and interstates (paint, thermoplastic, or epoxy)
Operate long-line striping trucks and related equipment
Set up and manage traffic control zones per DOT guidelines
Read and execute DOT plans and striping layouts
Perform daily vehicle/equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Maintain accurate job logs, production records, and crew timesheets
Train new team members in striping operations and safety protocols
Communicate with inspectors, clients, and project managers on-site
What You Need:
3 years of experience in highway road striping (required)
Experience operating long-line trucks and pavement marking equipment
Leadership experience or prior role as crew lead/foreman
Valid driver’s license required; CDL Class B or A strongly preferred
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and travel as needed
Strong knowledge of MUTCD and state DOT standards
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime when required
Nice to Have:
ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor Certification
OSHA 10 or 30
First Aid/CPR
Flagging certification
