Job Summary - No Guardrail experience Necessary.
We are looking for a shop/operations foreman. This person will be in charge of the day-to-to-day activities at our shop. The right person for this job will manage and load inventory on trailers and ensure correct tools and supplies are stocked around the shop. This person will also be able to receive and store inventory ordered from vendors and additionally transmit appropriate paperwork to the Project Manager. This person will be responsible for maintaining the vehicles and fuel cards. It would be helpful if this person has experience working with guardrail, but it is not required. We will train. It is all very simple.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise, crews leaving and coming back to the shop to ensure all tools and equipment are turned in.
· Be willing and able to operate a small skytrack to load material on trailers
· Maintain quality control by ensuring used or damaged equipment is place in the appropriate scrap bin
· Manage and track materials, minimizing waste and ensuring timely delivery of supplies.
· Maintain clear communication with project managers regarding progress, delays, and crew performance.
· Troubleshoot and resolve facility and equipment related issues promptly to avoid delays.
Qualifications
· 2 year of supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
· Proficient in operating construction equipment and hand tools.
· OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.
· Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
