Arkansas Spine and Pain is seeking APRN to join our central Arkansas clinics. The APN is responsible for assessing patients and developing a plan of care in collaboration with the physicians. As a Nurse Practitioner in this role, effective collaboration with physicians involves communication, sharing insights, and jointly making decisions regarding the assessment and treatment of patients. The goal is to create a cohesive healthcare team that optimizes the quality of care provided to individuals seeking pain management services at the clinic.

```Duties```
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations on patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Provide counseling and education to patients on health promotion and disease prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

```Qualifications```
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty area of practice
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in performing sonography procedures
- Experience with electronic health record systems, such as Athenahealth
- Familiarity with aseptic technique for sterile procedures
- Ability to provide care for infants, including vaccinations and well-child visits
- Knowledge of family planning methods and counseling techniques
- Understanding of clinical research principles and ability to participate in research studies
- Competency in performing gastric lavage procedures for emergency situations
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients, as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Must hold a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Arkansas
  • Must hold valid DEA number and DPS Registration
  • Minimum 1 year of neurosurgery practice experience preferred
  • ACLS and BLS Certification Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
