General Description Arkansas State University-Beebe, a two-year residential community college within the Arkansas State University System, invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, promotion-eligible, non-tenure-track Instructor of Computer Systems & Networking Technology (CSNT). We seek a dynamic and student-focused individual with a passion for technology, a commitment to student success, and the ability to stay ahead of industry advancements. Key Responsibilities : Teach IT courses of the CSNT program, including but not limited to : Cisco CCNA CompTIA A, Net, Linux Microsoft, VMware, Security Develop and update curriculum to align with industry standards. Advise and mentor students as needed. Assess courses and implement improvements for student learning. Participate in departmental and institutional service activities. Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Dean of Career Education. Teaching Schedule : Courses may be offered during the day, evenings, online, and potentially on weekends. While currently based on the ASU-Beebe campus, future courses may be taught at other ASU-Beebe locations. Qualifications : Relevant industry certifications, professional experience in computer systems and networking technology, teaching experience, and curriculum development experience.
