Position Overview:
The Financial Aid and Admission Specialist at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) is a vital role in the student onboarding process. This is a front-facing, customer service position that helps both the Financial Aid and Admissions offices ensure a great experience for each student. The Financial Aid and Admission Specialist will help students through the admissions application, collection of admissions documents, financial aid applications, and collection of necessary financial aid paperwork. Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid, this position also provides crucial support to the institution by verifying eligibility and awarding scholarships, financial aid, and private loans.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience resulting in broad knowledge of a field related to the job.
12 to 18 months of related work experience and/or training.
Compensation includes an annual salary commensurate with background and experience, and a comprehensive benefits and leave package.
