What You'll do:
Demonstrates Knowledge and skills in delivering behavior-analytic services
- Demonstrates proficiency in all aspects of the current Registered Technician Task List
- Follow the direction of their supervisors, accurately implements behavior- technician services, and accurately complete all required documentation
- Have an understanding of scope of competence, including the implementation of evidence-based interventions and avoids the implementation of restrictive or punishment-based procedures
- Seeks clinical direction when unfamiliar with interventions and situations prior to implementation or immediately when first involved in such situations
- Maintains the integrity and form of current programming and only makes changes or modifications to programming when directed to do so by the supervising analyst
- Assist the supervising analyst during assessments and provides direct services when required
- Provides direct behavioral-analytical services for children when required
Supervision of Behavior Technicians
- Clearly states the purpose of supervising BTs as described in this document
- Assist the supervising consultant on performing competency assessments and performance evaluations as designed by the agency
- Maintains relevant knowledge on the agency policy and procedures
- Models technical, professional, and ethical behavior for BTs
- Reviews and provides timely feedback on documents, including: data sheets and graphs
- Provides documentation and materials as required by the supervising consultant
Training of Behavior Technicians
- Competent in implementing the Behavior Skills Training method for training BTs
- Observes BTs performance, implements behavioral skills training, and delivers performance feedback
- Assists BTs in developing critical thinking and problem solving skills within the scope of practice
- Identifies low-quality behavioral-analytical services by identifying insufficient staff progress and poor performance
Complete all other responsibilities related to the LBT position duties as assigned
The Lead Behavior Technician must meet the following qualifications to be eligible for the position:
- Hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education,/Special Education, Psychology, Speech- Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or a related field
- Be certified as an RBT in good standing or be eligible to obtain an RBT certification (within the first 60 days of employment)
- Have completed the 40 hours of the RBT curriculum as regulated by the BACB prior hiring and complete an additional 80 hours of training in the field of supervision and ABA within the first year of employment.
- Complete a Supervisor Training within the first 30 days of employment
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as Behavior Technician
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Strong advocacy skills and a commitment to the mission of ASN

Location: Northwest Arkansas | Hours: 12 hours/Weekly - Monday to Saturday 7:30-11:30 am & Monday to Friday 3-7pm
