What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk/Admin position at Arkansas Talent Group?
Arkansas Talent Group is excited to partner with an expanding company in search of a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk based in Conway, AR. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various accounting and clerical duties to support the departments financial operations. The ideal candidate will have basic accounting knowledge, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Duties will include:
- Manage and oversee the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
- Coordinate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure prompt payment
- Maintain detailed records of customer accounts and financial transactions
- Assist with general bookkeeping duties, including A/P and A/R
- Manage front desk office duties as needed
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed
Ideal candidate will possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Degree in Accounting or related field preferred)
- 1 years experience as an accounting clerk or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP) preferred
- Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to engage and assist clients effectively
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
