What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architectural Drafter/Designer position at Arkansas Talent Group?
Arkansas Talent Group is working with our client, a residential and commercial construction company, to find a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Drafter/Designer to join their team based in North Little Rock. The ideal candidate will contribute to the preparation of accurate and high-quality drawings, plans, and schematics for a variety of commercial construction projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive and detailed architectural and engineering drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers to develop plans that meet client specifications.
- Revise and improve existing designs based on input from the team or client feedback.
- Review field measurements and translate findings into accurate drawings.
- Maintain orderly records of project files, designs, and related documentation.
- Support the team in design and planning phases, offering innovative solutions when needed.
Requirements:
- Must have proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Produce quality work in a timely manner.
- A bachelors degree or certification in drafting, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of architectural and/or engineering principles.
Preferred Skills:
- 2 years of experience as a draftsman in a design, architectural or engineering firm.
- Proficiency in BIM software.
- Familiarity with zoning and building codes and permitting processes.
- Experience with construction process and documentation.
- Knowledge in ensuring compliance with local codes and regulation.

- Comp: $45,000-55,000 Strong market base pay with bonus opportunities and additional allowance for health, dental and vision insurance
