Job Summary:
- Prepares salads, desserts and fresh fruits/vegetables for service.
- Serves on patient tray line as needed.
- Serves patients, staff and visitors on cafeteria line.
- Keeps adequate amounts of coffee and tea in cafeteria.
- Cashiers and totals receipts.
- Keeps serving/dining areas and equipment clean.
- Keeps cafeteria stocked with supplies.
- Documents temperatures of food in cafeteria and tray line.
- Takes patient food orders and tally’s amounts for Cook’s production sheet.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Skills/Educational Requirements:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
