Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This position requires a proactive approach to employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and overall human resources management.
Duties
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company’s business goals.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Manage employee relations and serve as a point of contact for resolving employee concerns and conflicts, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, claims, and inquiries.
- Support performance management processes and assist with employee evaluations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training and development programs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Prepare HR reports for senior leadership, including metrics on staffing, turnover, and other HR data.
- Conduct exit interviews and assist with employee offboarding.
- Support various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in HR or related field.
- Knowledge of employment labor law and compliance requirements.
- Experience in employee orientation processes and recruitment strategies.
- Familiarity with FMLA regulations and benefits administration practices.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (e.g., HRIS, applicant tracking systems).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving within human resources functions.
Preferred Skills:
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
- Experience with employee wellness programs.
- Experience in a fast-paced, growing organization.
