DevOps Engineer with Java

Responsibilities:

1. Designing, implementing, developing, and maintaining applications using Java tech stack as per the requirements.
2. Understand business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
3. Contribute to SDLC (software development lifecycle) activities: requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and integration, and maintenance.
4. Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Argo, and GitOps.
5. Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines with application code, ensuring automated testing, building, and deployment.
6. Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automating deployment, scaling, and management of applications on Kubernetes and AWS.
7. Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of CI/CD pipelines and applications.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines, applications, and infrastructure.
9. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure pipeline and application health.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for improvement.
11. Participate in on-call rotations for pipeline and application support.

Requirements:

1. 5 years of hands-on experience in IT industry with good experience in JAVA/J2EE and restful web-services development.

2. Must have strong Java/J2EE experience. Experience with injection frameworks like Spring, SpringBoot is a must.

3. 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a related field.

4. Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Argo.

5. Experience with containerization using Docker.

6. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience working with microservices architecture.
2. Experience with GitOps and infrastructure-as-code.
3. Strong in Algorithms and Database concepts
4. Knowledge of security best practices for CI/CD pipelines.
5. Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
6. Certification in Kubernetes, AWS, or related technologies
