About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Builder Division as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth execution of our flooring installation projects. Your primary responsibilities will include managing claims, processing orders, scheduling installations, and maintaining effective communication with both installers and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Management:
- Efficiently process and resolve customer claims related to installation issues or product defects.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Order Processing:
- Accurately process and input customer orders into our system, ensuring all details are correct.
- Verify product availability and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely delivery.
- Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain an efficient installation schedule, considering factors like installer availability, material delivery, and customer preferences.
- Communicate schedule changes and updates to both installers and customers.
- Customer and Installer Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and installers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Provide timely updates on order status, scheduling changes, and any potential delays.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all orders, installations, and claims.
- Prepare necessary documentation, such as invoices and work orders.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and report generation.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience in the flooring industry (preferred)
