Overview:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. This role focuses on capturing high-quality video content of flooring, carpet, and tile installations at various local job sites. The ideal candidate is passionate about videography and has a strong understanding of social media trends. You will play a key role in producing engaging content for our social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to local job sites to film flooring, carpet, and tile installation projects.
- Capture high-quality video footage in both vertical and landscape orientations, suitable for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and more.
- Work closely with installers and site teams to ensure projects are captured effectively and highlight unique or noteworthy details.
- Collaborate with the social media team to align video content with brand messaging and marketing goals.
- Organize and transfer raw footage to the social media team for editing and posting.
- Maintain a consistent schedule of site visits to ensure regular content production.
- Stay informed about current trends in social media to inspire fresh content ideas.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of videography, including framing, lighting, and sound.
- Familiarity with smartphone and/or camera recording tools for social media content creation.
- Reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with the social media team and job site personnel.
- Passion for social media and understanding of platform-specific content needs (e.g., vertical video for TikTok/Instagram).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in creating social media content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Pinterest.
