Assistant Human Resources Business Partner

Description

• Support recruiting process from start to finish including scheduling interviews, reviewing resumes and new hire communications.
• Assist in employee onboarding and organize training and development initiatives.
• Process HR updates to HRIS system.
• Assisting with general compensation management such as market pricing positions, internal equity studies, etc.
• Maintain a high level of understanding of the benefit plans, answer employee questions and assist with annual open enrollment process.
• Assist in the creation of new training and development including programs on company culture, philosophy, and policy.
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
• Create and send out company newsletters and HR announcements.
• Plan company wide events based on guidance from manager.
• Other general administrative and office duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
• One or more years of experience in any HR field preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be able to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
• Must have strong attention to detail, be organized, accurate and thorough.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and present solutions to problems
• Efficiency in Microsoft Office software required. HRIS experience preferred.
• Fluent English required (Japanese or a second language is a plus)
• HR certification preferred (PHR)

Salary : $48,000 - $62,000
