Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented cabinet maker / millworker with a passion for high-end woodworking. The ideal candidate has at least five years of hands-on experience in custom cabinetry and architectural millwork, and is comfortable working from shop drawings to final finish.
Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble custom cabinetry and millwork to exact specifications
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and architectural plans
- Creating shop drawings
- Material take-offs and cut sheets
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools with precision and safety
- Collaborate with the design and production team to maintain quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Ensure projects are completed on time and to spec
- Onsite installation of cabinetry and millwork
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in cabinet making or architectural millwork
- Proficient with woodworking tools, machinery, and joinery techniques
- Ability to read and create shop drawings
- Experience preparing material take-offs and estimating cut lists
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
