Cultivation Facilities Associate

Are you interested in a career in the Cannabis Industry? Come join our Team at ARL Healthcare. Our Medical Marijuana Cultivation Facility is located in New Bedford MA and we have an immediate need for a Cultivation Facilities Associate.

The Cultivation Facilities Associates complete tasks to ensure the aesthetic appeal and overall sanitation and cleanliness of assigned areas that are maintained according to department specifications and company standards. Cultivation Facilities Associates must carry out day-to-day tasks including cleaning and sanitizing cultivation tools, cultivation equipment, grow room areas, and hallways, post-harvest grow rooms, dry rooms, maintaining the washroom, and wash room equipment as well as disposing of trash in accordance with company procedures. Cultivation Facilities Associates must maintain excellent personal hygiene, work space cleanliness, and quality control measures to ensure high quality product in accordance with the state and company standards.

Job Description:

• Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe workspace in the cultivation facility
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment at all times
• Ensure organization and cleanliness of storage room and wash room
• Perform all cleaning and sanitization procedures in accordance with the company’s sanitation standards
• Cleaning work areas and maintaining tools in accordance with sanitation standards
• Working as a unit in a team-oriented environment (There is no I in TEAM!)
• Following company inventory procedures and accurately logging data as needed
• Learning and following relevant cultivation and compliance SOP’s
• Operation cultivation equipment and following all necessary training and safety protocols

Preferred Skills

• Strong work ethic & willingness to take instruction. The position therefore does not require prior facility experience. An extra commitment to receiving on-the-job training from the Cultivation Manager or Team Lead, to support sustainable and efficient production practices in our cultivation facility setting.

Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to perform grasping, lifting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing, stooping and repetitive motions. This position also requires working in warm and humid conditions. You must be able to work autonomously given instructions. You must also be able to work with EPA registered chemicals for cleaning and sanitization purposes. You must also be able to wear a respirator for sanitizing purposes across cultivation.

Physical Requirements

• This position is full-time. The individual will work a minimum of 40 hours on site. This position is VERY LABOR INTENSIVE. You must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds, may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching

• Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (rotating weekend schedule, every other weekend)
