We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Transportation Operations Coordinator to join our safety team. This role is responsible for supporting daily transportation operations, managing inventory, and coordinating warehousing activities to ensure efficient and accurate movement of goods. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a keen interest in logistics and supply chain management.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
- Monitor and track shipments, updating internal systems and communicating status to relevant stakeholders.
- Support warehouse operations, including inventory tracking, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment.
- Conduct inventory audits and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and warehouse personnel to optimize logistics processes.
- Assist in resolving transportation and inventory discrepancies, ensuring smooth operations.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to transportation and warehousing.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to generate reports and analyze operational performance.
