Arla Foods is a farmer-owned global Dairy with over 17,000 employees world-wide. Arla is committed to animal welfare all while providing farm to fridge, high quality, all natural products. Currently our growing Kaukauna, WI facility has a 1st Shift opening for an Accounting Assistant.
As an Accounting Assistant at Arla Foods, you will have diverse responsibilities that include:
- Perform account payable duties; matching and coding of invoices, entering data into the AP system in an accurate and timely manner; checking reports for correct coding of data; setting up vendors. Scanning invoices into system for payment and approval.
- Check pay run through a report register, ensuring accuracy of data; and an efficient check run; generate checks through the system and prepare for mailing and filing of backup papers.
- General accounting duties; month-end journal entries, general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation, audit requests, ad hoc analysis, and financial tasks in a timely fashion based on the direction from the Finance Controller.
- Perform backup responsibilities for accounts receivable, producer payroll, patron milk entry, variance reporting of milk loads, and DHI lab card reports.
A qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or Accounting or an associate's degree in business administration, Finance, or Accounting and two or more years of related experience. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
